The most representative technical parameter of a filter is the filtration accuracy, that is, nominal accuracy and absolute accuracy. The parameters to measure the filter accuracy index are based on the ISO4572 multiple pass test standard.
Nominal accuracy: The nominal filtration accuracy value of the filter element is given by the manufacturer. A random value (arbitrary value), because the value is not repeatable, so the precision value is often despised and confused.
Absolute accuracy: This refers to the diameter value tested when the largest ball-shaped particle can pass through the filter element under specified conditions. This can also be expressed as the maximum aperture of the filter element.
